'Sex Criminals': Nia DaCosta To Direct Amazon Series Based On Comic

Sex criminals is a fantastic story. However, the nature of it means that doing a live action version is going to be difficult. Not impossible, but I suspect that the usual prudishness production companies have when they fear backlash is going to limit booth the zaniness and the casual, comfortable discussion of sex that’s part of the charm of the story.

It’s totally possible to do the story without nudity, though it does partly defeat some of the sillier and thus fun scenes. But if they start cutting some of the events to chase a given rating, it’s gonna suck because it won’t feel right.
