They keep saying it’s Tom Clancy’s but Tom Clancy died a long time ago. There’s a reason they don’t want to adapt the dozen or so Jack Ryan books that Tom Clancy wrote. And with a GOP-controlled company making movies about Jack Ryan that weren’t written by Tom Clancy, I can only assume it’s just propaganda for the war.
Also, it’s a movie, not another season of the show, FWIW. I watched the trailer — it actually looks good. I just can’t help but to question the ulterior motives of the studios involved.

I have read three or four of the Clancy Jack Ryan books and Red Storm Rising and seen all the movies and they are all “war” propaganda through and through.
With that said, i am sure this will just as shitty as all the other Jack Ryan crap that Amazon has shat out. The first season of that show was really good until then final two episodes and then it nosed dived.
The second season was dogshit throughout and I never bothered to watch the third season.
No, I’m just bothered that they continue to use Tom Clancy’s name.
Jack Ryan has always been war propaganda, it’s just more disturbing now.
