Today’s game is Ghost of Tsushima. I played through some more of the story, and i have to say it’s way shorter than i remember. Each chapter i feel like i can clear in a few hours. I could have sworn i spent more time on it on my first playthrough on PS4 but maybe i’m just mistaken.
Today’s game is Halo MCC. Originally I was going to feature me and my friend’s LASO run, but we bailed because of how much of a challenge the level Truth and Reconciliation were. So instead we did PvP since we were already there.
The scenario - a 10-day closure of the Strait of Hormuz - is speculative. But every number on the HUD, every stakeholder voice, every threshold that triggers a cascade, and every dispatch echoing real-world reporting is anchored to a named, published source.
Today’s game is This War of Mine. It appeared in my library at some point so it must have either been free or i got it through a bundle. It’s a really good game from what i played. Mainly what makes me say this is stopping by this house.
I’ve seen a lot of folks online who think they can teach developers how to develop, but I didn’t imagine the problem was so bad in face-to-face interactions.

It reminds me of one i feel like i remember getting of another game. Maybe The Last of us Part 2? I’m not 100% sure on that though and all my pictures i think are unfortunately gone. We’ll have to see though, maybe i got lucky and backed them up. That was right about the time i converted all my photos to JPEG XL and stored them so maybe i did that too.

I wanted to get back to this though before i let this hit the dropped list like so many other things, or worse the “On Hold” List (looking at you Crushing run of The Last of Us Part II and Silent Hill f). So i got on and started going through the story.

Today’s game is Mario Kart Double Dash. I had a long day and just wanted to play something. Usually my go to is 64 or 8 Deluxe. It’s what i know, and in 8’s Case it lets me spend time with friends. I decided though to try double dash. I’ve never really cared for it and wanted to give it an honest try outside of the grand prix.

I’ve been waiting for a good bus game for so long and I think this could be the one ❤️ I love how you drive for likes instead of money too and the city just feels so buzzing and active. I can’t believe we get this game and InKonbini on the same day 😁🎉
I’m curious what game you guys have sunk the most hours into. Mine has to be RuneScape, I don’t know the total hours because I’ve had so many accounts over the years I don’t even remember half my passwords, but it’s definitely in the thousands of hours now. I’ve played on/off RS2, OSRS, and RS3 since 2004.
Today’s game is KLETKA. I will admit that this was entirely an impulse buy. I saw it on sale for 5$, and scooped up 4 copies for me and my friends. I was a little hesitant that it’d just be something like Lethal Company all over again, but surprisingly it feels a little different.

I am bouncing around between a few of my favorite space sim games right now and there is something I noticed just now: While you can enter asteroid fields or planetary rings and fly around dodging giant space rocks, all those rocks just sit in place and maybe rotate around. None of them move.
Today’s game is Animal Crossing New Horizons. I hadn’t checked in on my island in a hot second so I figured “you know what. May as well”. My friend sent me a cat plush he got so that went in my home.
I enjoy Magic the Gathering, but I hate that it’s leashed with copyright and patent stuff, and basically pay to win with Wizard’s bogus artificial scarcity. You take a look at classics like Chess - no one owns Chess, it’s public domain. Consequently we get a continuous stream of gameplay variants, as well as all manner of Chess sets with virtually any feature and style of art you can think of.
Today’s game is Unturned. I feel like this game has a pretty decent presence on the internet, but just to be safe, unturned is a Free Zombie survival game. It’s got some low budget graphics, but being free it’s got a surprising amount of depth to it I feel like. The developer supports it still from time to time, though I’m unsure if that’s including Major updates.
I’m itching to play something like Cities Skylines, but also something that isn’t just about growing and growing, rather building within certain (spatial?) limitations and/or solving problems or something. I hope this isn’t a contradiction, but I’d also like if it had a bit more focus on individual buildings and livability rather than optimizing car traffic, if that makes any sense. I guess i’m looking for something that is a bit more than just a city sculpting sandbox, but less than a full blown metropolis-society-simulator.
Believing CoD fans want a subscription option - or Game Pass subscribers would swallow price hikes to play COD - betrayed a misunderstanding of both audiences
Today’s game is Super Releasio 64. Now, what is this game? I wish I could explain it with such unique… eloquence as this game presents itself, but it’s Super Mario 64 where almost everything is replaced with Toad. It’s almost impressive in a way.
Today’s game is Stardew Valley. I’ve started growing hops in the greenhouse. No one else was using it at the time so I used it all. But now one of my friends wants access to it so I took my sprinklers with me and let him have half of it. He wants the hops and the alternative is destroy them, so he can keep them.
Quite often, an indie game throws together some common gameplay, like roguelike shooter patterns, with little to explain it. eg, “You’re here to explore for treasure!” Other times, even AAA games go this route, assuming most players won’t care about the base story premise.
